Head to the land of the Vikings. Norway has some stunning hills and stretches of road ideal for you and your bike. There are some areas only accessible by ferry, but the stretches of roads between Bergen and Andalsnes take you up hills, zigzagging across the landscape and through the land’s deepest fjord.

Dales and Moors, Yorkshire, England

Say what you like about the weather, but the UK has some excellent stretches of road. The road that links the Kendal to Whitby has everything: straights where you can pick up speed, areas on consecutive bends, and a landscape that goes from wilderness to cozy markets towns. There are plenty of places to stop if you need to, your trip can be completed in a little under a day.

 

The Road of Death, Bolivia

Perhaps you are a bit of an adrenaline junkie. This road can be completed in a few hours as it is only 38 miles (61km) long. However, as the name implies, this isn’t a road to be taken lightly. This is the anomaly on this list that should only be tackled by experienced bikers. However, it could be added to a novice’s list for a future ride.
