There are so many reasons to visit France, from the romance of Paris to the splendour of the south coast. As one of the most popular holiday destinations for families, there are also various different ways to explore the country; staying in hotels, hostels, camping or, our personal favourite, in a Eurocamp holiday home. Still not convinced a mobile home is best? Here are four reasons why it’s a great choice when holidaying in France.

A holiday home in France provides all the comforts of your own home, just in a different country and with a more traditional chalet style. Comfy beds rather than sleeping on the hard floor in a tent, all the home comforts of a TV, electric cooker and more make it a great choice. Air conditioning for when it’s hot, insulation and radiators for when it’s cold help too, no matter what time of year you’re going on vacation.
Facilities
In a French hotel you might get a nice breakfast, room and possibly use of a pool but it’s all in one complex. The range of facilities available at holiday home parcs are so much more and better suited for families. Kids’ clubs, shops, water parks, spas, bars and restaurants offer plenty of choice to enjoy a holiday in France the way you want to.
Perfect Locations
Whether you want a spring break close to the French mountains or are after a typical, sunny summer beach vacation, holiday parks in France can be found in almost any location. Rather than being tuck in a stuffy hostel or tent at your accommodation, you’ll be in close proximity to the beach or hills to take in your favorite holiday activities whenever you wish. There’ll be less need to arrange additional coach or train trips to get down to the beach or out into the countryside.
Excellent Weather
It’s true that wherever you stay, the weather will be the same. However, with a mobile home there is far more opportunity to enjoy the sunshine and warm temperature. You can quickly fire up the barbeque, play games outside with the kids or just sit and relax, taking in the sun with a drink. The same can’t be said when staying in a city hotel, unless you have a balcony.
