Discover Dubrovnik

When some people think of Dubrovnik, they think of the American TV show Game of Thrones. A walk around the historic Old Town will take you back to Kings Landing, but its charms don’t stop there. Hire a boat and lose yourself to the surrounding waters. Once you’ve left the bay, reflect on a panoramic view of the city – it wasn’t dubbed the Pearl of the Adriatic for nothing!

To get out of the city, take a speedboat to the island of Lopoud. It’s only a 35-minute journey, and you’ll feel like a Hollywood movie star gliding over the waves approaching the secluded paradise. When you’re there, take a swim around Sunj Beach before retreating to one of the many bars or cafes to refresh.

Paradise in Croatia

If you’re flying to Pula, then no trip here is complete without visiting the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Turquoise waters flow through dramatic canyons, amongst which you’ll find a waterfall which is 78 meters tall! For the faint-hearted, wooden boardwalks curve their way through the parks many lakes. Take a guided tour, or explore this beautiful part of Croatia at a leisurely pace.

Offshore, discover the alluring port of Cres. One of many of the country’s archipelagos, it’s home to delicious locally caught seafood. Feast on anchovies, horse mackerel and sprat in the rrainbow-coloredtowns, and wash it down with a glass of fruity Croatian wine. Despite much of the country being known for its pebbly beaches, the island’s Mali Bok beach provides sand lovers with a safe haven to bathe in the sun. Prone to sunburn? Fear not, the beach is situated between two large cliffs, so finding shelter is never hard.
