Have you heard of glamping? We were only introduced to this travel trend about a year ago, but ever since, we have been dying to experience a glamping getaway for ourselves.

If you’re new to glamping, it’s kind of like camping in style.

Glamor + Camping = Glamping

Glamping comes in all forms and figures, from luxury cabins and tree houses to stylish tents and yurts to chic solar-powered teepees. If you love being in nature—but hate setting up your own tent and sleeping bag—then you really can’t go wrong.

If you’re a regular reader, then you already know that here at A Cruising Couple we’re all about ‘adventure travel with a dash of class.’ We love trying new things, enjoying the great outdoors and generally getting our adrenaline pumping. But that’s not to say we sacrifice all our style in the process. We truly believe that you can have the best of both worlds—hence, adventure travel with a dash of class. As stylish adventure travel continues to increase in popularity, travelers are continually coming up with epic new ways to experience the world through once-in-a-lifetime adventures. And glamping just happens to be a perfect example of finding that beautiful balance between adventure and comfort.

In just a few weeks, we will be headed to the beloved paradise islands of Hawaii. We’ve already got an incredibly exciting travel itinerary lined up (including a wedding and family visit!) But we’re extra excited because we will also have an opportunity to give glamping a try first-hand through Glamping Hub! We’ll be sharing all the juicy details about what it was like when we return, but in the meantime, here’s a sneak peek of our secluded jungle bamboo villa:

You don’t have to head all the way to Hawaii to give glamping a try. You can glamp on almost every continent, and, as mentioned above, in everything from a teepee to a tree house to a yurt.

With fall now in full-swing, it’s the perfect time to head outdoors and give glamping a try. Here are a few fall glamping travel itineraries in particular that have caught our eye:

Luxury Two-Story Tree House In Vermont

Staying in a tree house is one of the most unique and memorable experiences we’ve had in Costa Rica, so we certainly wouldn’t turn down the opportunity to experience it once more. Especially during the fall in New England when the leaves are performing their best and brightest displays. Throw in a hot tub and plenty of opportunities for hiking nearby, and you really can’t go wrong.

Luxury Tent In The Mountains Outside Asheville, NC

Originally hailing from the Tar Heel state, we were excited to see so many great options for glamping in North Carolina. Asheville in particular is one of our favorite cities, and makes a great base for exploring the surrounding mountains. This luxury tent under a tree canopy looks utterly delightful.

Mongolian Yurt In California

For those of us who may not be planning to head all the way to Mongolia anytime soon, this unique Mongolian Yurt in California might be the next best thing. Stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and Conejo Valley as well as numerous surrounding vineyards make this a glamping experience we wouldn’t hesitate to sign up for.

All of these – and many more fall glamping options – are available on Glamping Hub’s fall getaway page

There will definitely be more to come from us on the Glamping after we return from our trip to Hawaii, so stay tuned for more details and photos!

Have you ever tried glamping before? Where would you want to go glamping?

A huge thanks to Glamping Hub for making our visit in Hawaii possible.
