17 Incredible Images That Will Make You Want To Go To Maui

It doesn’t matter if you’re a honeymooner or a family of four, the magnificence of Maui never seems to disappoint. We took advantage of our time there, while visiting for a friend’s wedding, to explore both sides of the island paradise a few days before and after the festivities. From the touristy tiki torches of Lahaina in the east to the surreal sunrise on Mount Haleakala in the wild west, here are 17 photos that will make you wish you were on Maui.

Our trip combined the best of both sides of the island with a few nights on the west side followed by a few nights on the east. We recommend both to get a feel for both the untamed and the more developed side of Maui. There are tons of hotels to choose from on Maui. We used HotelPlanner to find an amazing oceanfront location in the Whalers Village which was also just 10 minutes from the wedding venue.

Have you ever been to Maui? Did you find it as amazing as we did?

  1. I love Maui. My first visit there was 13 years ago and I have manage to get back there once a year at least. I have a connection to this island I cannot explain. I now go annually with a group of women and we camp out for 10 days. I love the hiking and finding new labyrinths. ?
