Day 48: House Brew
Day 47: Keeping In Touch Via Skype
Skype Date!
Day 46: Body Language Knows No Barriers
Since our Chinese is still pretty pathetic, we find ourselves using body language a lot, especially when it comes to ordering food. The local fried rice vendor totally gets us, and whenever we order fried rice, he uses this gesture to symbolize with or without beef?...
Day 45: Empty Fridge
This is the sad sight that is our empty fridge. A package of moon cakes, a 2 liter of Vanilla Coke, a bottle of Lemon Coke that I miss-took for Vanilla Coke, and Ketchup.
Day 44: Snapshot from the Caoling Historic Trail
Don't worry, we'll have a whole blog post dedicated to the Caoling Historic Trail :-P. It was absolutely breathtaking, with great views of the coast and Turtle Island. Here's a snapshot from the hike where you can just barely see the coast behind us.
Day 43: Seriously Huge Spiders
We saw the largest spiders of our lives on Taiwan's Northeast Coast. And of course, once we saw one, we realized they were absolutely everywhere! Super thankful that we haven't found any of these in our apartment yet, because I'm not sure I could handle it.
