Wow! That sounds amazing. :) I'm always looking for new recipes to try at home like this one-- especially when it's a delicious wine that's packed with antioxidants. Thanks for sharing! I'll have to try this out!

I love to drink pomegranate wine because its good for our health also.

Pomegranate's health benefits are almost legendary. Basically, a 100 ml of pomegranate juice has 3 times the antioxidants of 100 ml of red wine or 100 ml of green tea.

Here are the ingredients needed for this basic and simple pomegranate wine recipe for 4 liters of finished wine:

- 6 pomegranates
- 500g of raisins or 500ml of red grape concentrate
- 1 kg granulated sugar
- 10g of acid blend or just malic acid
- 5g pectic enzyme
- 10g yeast nutrient or diamonium phosphate
- 2-3g of metabisulphite or 1campden tablet
- 1 package wine yeast

If you’re a red wine lover, the traditional Maratheftiko wine from the Vasa Winery in Limassol (Argyrides Maratheftiko) regional wine (gold) or from the Makkas Winery in Paphos (Makkas Maratheftiko).
There are also more world renowned wines on offer, such as great Cabernet Sauvignons from the Kyperounda and Vasilikon Wineries, both in Limassol, while Shiraz is produced in the Constantinou and Vlasides Wineries, also both in Limassol.
As far as whites go, the Vlassides Winery in Limassol produces a great Sauvignon Blanc, the Tsangarides Winery in Paphos offers a sharp Chardonnay. Other whites of note are the traditional Petritis Xynisteri from the Kyperounda Winery in Limassol and the Ezousa Xynisteri from the Ezousa Winery in Paphos.
