You empty the water out and then refill to rinse. That's what I read on other sites..

After you wash clothes you need to rinse. Where do you put the wet clothes? In the sink of course so the clothes don't drip all over. Now the sink needs to be washed first. Then you need to rinse the scrubba or you are putting clothes in a dirty bag. Probably you will rinse twice so repeat. Again you need to put clothes in the sink to wring them out so you can hang them up to dry. I don't think you are saving time. Sink and bag need washing. Better off swirling clothes around in a cleaned up sink. Am I missing somethings?

Sounds interesting...but.....to rinse the clothes you must put the clothes on some surface, probably in the sink so that the wet clothes won't drip all over. That means washing the sink. Then you would need to wash the inside of the bag, put the clothes back in the bag with water, rinse and probably repeat as one rinse is never enough. Again where do you put the washed and rinsed clothes? Of course back in the sink to wring out and hang up to dry. Now then I don't get the savings in time or in cleaning the sink. Am I missing something?

Just wow! This would have been so handy when trekking in the Himalayas. The water was ice cold and the only space to do it was hunched over an outside tap! Not ideal.

[…] We wrote a whole blog post about our Scrubba earlier this year. And believe it or not, this is still a staple in our packs wherever we go. If you are doing a lot of active adventures outdoors, chances are you’ll be sweating through your clothes extra quickly. Rather than having to pack a lot more, the Scrubba allows you to easily clean your clothes with washing-machine quality in just 30-seconds. We’ve gotten tons of jealous looks every time we’ve broken out our Scrubba over the past year. You can read more about our whole review here. […]

What a great concept. We already use the drying towel and have a travel clothesline we use, but this would be a great addition to our washing essentials to pack. Thanks for sharing.

[…] Yes, you can wash your clothes in a bag. With a product such as the Scrubba wash bag you can sort of recreate a conventional washing machine anywhere. Simply fill with water, clothes, and detergent. It’s pretty simple to do. NOTE: I’ve never used this product, but you can check out A Cruising Couple’s review of it here: https://acruisingcouple.com/2014/01/product-review-scrubba-washbag/.
[…] If the road trip is any longer than a week, then the Scrubba is coming along. We use this thing all the time. While it doesn’t take all the work out of hand-washing our clothes, it does make the process so much more enjoyable. You can read our full review of the product here. […]
