I have only been to Pompeii but am planning to go to Chaco Canyon soon as my boyfriend’s Dad lives in Northern New Mexico and it has been on my list for a while. My favorite abandoned hike was the hike from Amalfi to Ravello through a valley with abandoned mills – felt like discovering a long lost city :)
