That’s awesome! And yep – it’s super easy to walk around Koh Lipe. It’s a small island, so that’s how just about everyone gets around :)

Koh Lipe looks wonderful. As a diver Koh Lipe sounds very interesting!
For some reason I keep going to the famous islands like Koh Tao, and forget that there are others :( so i wrote Koh Lipe down for the next time i go to Thailand :)

question: can you walk around on the island? are there pavements? and roads?

In reply to Jonny Duncan. That's awesome! I must admit, I'm a little jealous you knew about Koh Lipe back in 2003! I only wish I had found this gorgeous island sooner! I bet it was extra beautiful back then. You're right, it's unfortunate that so many of the islands have lost their Thai charm. Gotta hold on to this gem! :)

Wow! I was last in Koh Lipe in 2003. Opened this and had instant flashback memories. Cheers for that! It was my favourite island in Thailand and good to see it hasn’t been that heavily built up since last there, although I can certainly see some. So many Thai islands got ruined by that.
