When I was younger I was a house/pet sitter for several families, sometimes staying with their children while the parents traveled. I should I try to get in contact with these people to see if they would be a reference? As I mentioned it has been years and I believe that some of them may not be around any longer. Our very first experience was a massive luxury property/farm in Australia where we cared for 2 dogs, a cat, birds, a cow, and an alpaca. It was quite an adventure. Hope to do it again soon.
