I’ve actually been looking at silicone straps as an alternative to the leather. It looks better but I don’t think it breathes as well as nylon. Might be a good compromise though

I would agree with that– I prefer the look of leather in general, but tend to use nylon for this particular watch. I tend to take this watch for adventures, hiking, etc., and not so much for special occasions. I find the nylon to be a bit more advantageous when you’re out in the elements!
