When we were in Costa Rica our favorite activity spelunking. There was an awesome, huge cave with bats and critters. But I would say horseback riding was our second favorite activity.

In reply to Dana Carmel @ Time Travel Plans. A Choco Museo sounds fantastic! Unfortunately we aren't going to get up to Nicaragua, but I've heard good things about the activities, like you mentioned. I don't do a good job just sitting on the beach for long, so I love places with lots of variety and things to do, too :)
