When traveling to Africa on safari, we had to figure out how to take 6 weeks of clothing in one duffel each – that was quite a challenge (especially for Janice, who usually drags a whopping huge suitcase with her). It was quite a surprise to discover how little one actually needs when traveling (especially if you pack the right stuff). And it turned out to be very freeing to have so little luggage.

That’s a really good point! I think if you roll your clothes before putting them in that they stay fairly wrinkle-free, but I wouldn’t put anything too nice in there I guess! Haha I’m so accustomed to all my clothes being horribly wrinkled when we travel that I didn’t think too much about it!
