Thanks for the kind words Bernadette! We really appreciate it. You’re right, some people just don’t understand our life decisions…and that’s ok. We’ve learned to just do what makes us happy and not worry about what others think!

This is so true! After college, I wanted move to NYC without knowing a soul. I didn’t have a job lined up or an apartment, but knew that I just had to live there. I moved forward with my plans to move, and the week before I was set to arrive in the city, everything just fell into place. It was one of the best decisions I ever made!

Particularly loved this “This may sound cliché, but if you want something bad enough, everything will fall into place and it’ll just work out.” YES! There are answers to any question and solutions to be found, if we’re willing to seek them out.
It’s all about what’s most important to you. I think that what looks like sacrifices to someone else (selling a house, belongings etc) are really just life affirming choices to you. That’s how it feels for us, and we did a similar process in our lives. To other people it looked like we were giving things up and sacrificing, but to us we felt like we were freeing ourselves!
You guys rock, love your blog, look forward to reading more and following what you’re up to.

We can definitely relate to the idea that once you decide you want something badly enough, things fall into place. I wrote a little bit about that in our “About Us” section. We’ve had a lot of potential road blocks, but we’ve managed to overcome them and will be on our way to Asia in September!
