Western Mediterranean
The joy of cruising the Med is the sheer variety of destinations you’ll experience all in one trip. Perhaps you’ll lounge on a beach in Sicily one day and be exploring the ancient city of Pompeii the next, or even visiting the wildly romantic Amalfi Coast region? There are so many iconic cities to discover as a couple: Rome, Barcelona, Dubrovnik and more. Feast on Italian cuisine, dance to Spanish flamenco, and sample the finest wines in France. And if it’s architecture you’re after – you’ll be overwhelmed on a Mediterranean cruise. You could see the historic colosseum in Rome, Gaudi’s iconic architecture in Barcelona or Pisa’s famous leaning tower as you hop from place to place on your cruise of the Med.

Lazing on long, white sandy beaches and dabbling toes in the azure blue sea by day, then clinking glasses on-board a luxury liner as you sail into a sunset by night. Surely a Caribbean cruise is the epitome of romance? The joy of a cruise is sampling a selection of Caribbean islands all in one holiday, deciding whether swimming with turtles in Barbados floats your boat more than sipping rum cocktails in Jamaica, or whether it’s St Lucia with its green and lush inland terrain does it for you. Or maybe it will simply be the view to the islands from your private balcony as you sail away in the evening…

Norwegian Fjords
The main draw of a cruise of the Norwegian Fjords is, of course, the impressively beautiful scenery. But the bonus of exploring this region by cruise is that you’ll also visit cosmopolitan cities too, perhaps Copenhagen, Reykjavik or Oslo. Stroll the streets of these destinations hand-in-hand, marveling at the chocolate box buildings, and warming up over hot drinks in cozy cafes. And then you have a luxury cruise ship to return to at the end of the day to dine on high-quality food before sailing on to the next romantic destination. Bliss.
Middle East
Sailing on a cruise ship around the Middle East is an enchanting experience. The intoxicating sights and smells of Oman, the rich heritage of Abu Dhabi: it’s a romantic region not to be experienced alone. Then, of course, there’s Dubai. Head to the top of the Burj Khalifa in this incredible city to marvel at the far reaching views from the tallest building in the world. Alaska
Few places on earth are as captivating as Alaska, which is probably why it features on the bucket list of so many people. Vast, icy scenery and the opportunity to spot some incredible wildlife, Alaska is a region best shared with a loved one. Expect to see puffins, sea lions, whales and bears on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Alaska. It’s likely to be one of the most memorable trips you’ll ever take.
