Some of the largest and most beautiful (and most luxurious, of course) cruise ships of our times are operated by the same company: the Royal Caribbean. Whenever you see a cruise ship called something “… of the Seas”, there is a chance that it’s theirs – all their cruise ships across all classes are called that (Allure, Oasis, Majesty, Vision, and so on). For this year they prepare a new cruise ship to join their fleet: their second Quantum class cruise vessel, Anthem of the Seas. And it will be as majestic as the Quantum, her sister ship. I can’t wait to try it.

Anthem of the Seas is currently under construction at the Papenburg shipyard of the Meyer Werft ship building company – a ship building family business that has been founded in 1795. The same company has built the amazing Quantum of the Seas, and they promise her sister ship to be just as majestic and memorable. Building of the Anthem has started in November 2013, and the ship will set sail (well, sort of, as it won’t have any, of course) this Spring. The ship will go on its maiden voyage from Southampton, England, to Norway, then to the Mediterranean, before reaching the Caribbean this Winter.

Let’s take a look at the features we can expect to find on board the Anthem of the Seas. First of all, the ‘North Star‘ observation capsule returns, taking passengers on a vertical 90 meter trip. Besides there will be the usual entertainment venues like bumper cars, simulated parachuting and surfing, along with the SeaPlex multi-functional deck with roller skating, basketball, table tennis and many more indoor activities – while at sea!

Something for the families cruising on board the Anthem of the Seas: the new cruise ship will have more family-friendly modular staterooms that interconnect, offering more space to share with our family and friends. Haven’t got a sea facing room? No problem – the Anthem of the Seas will introduce a never before seen service, the Virtual Balcony, so every room will have a view in real time!

Another interesting innovation on board the Anthem of the Seas will be something called Dynamic Dining. With this guests will have the possibility to completely shape their culinary experience on board. They will have no set dining times, no set menus – they can choose one of the 18 restaurants with different styles to choose from.

I can hardly wait to step on board and experience the luxury and features of the Anthem of the Seas. Although there is no exact and official date published – I think I will find the latest royal vegas casino promotions here at http://ca.royalvegascasino.com/ until then – I will start to pack my bags in anticipation of the great event!
