During the next month we will be participating and photographing Blue Osa Yoga Retreat’s Yoga Teacher Training on the beautiful Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica, This was the first of 30 days we’ll be waking up at 4:30 in the morning. In our opinion, totally worth it! Stay tuned tomorrow for more details on our first impressions of the teacher training and how you can follow along on the journey.
Want to see your picture featured on our Sunday Snapshot segment? We’re accepting guest submissions! Just send us an email with your travel photo and a brief description. We’d love to have you!
It looks beautiful, but 4.30 is so early. Congrats on your new venture.

I love the play on light here, the peeking through, the shadows and outlines. Lovely!
Hi Dan,
What a fab shot!
We had a slew of gorgeous sunset photos from Playa Potrero, and also, Atenas.
Osa is one of my dream spots.
We’ll do it before long. Too much pristine beauty, and nature, to pass it up.
Amen on those 4:30 AM start times.
We’ve had some insomnia here and there, but here in Fiji we’re up by 5 AM on almost all days.
No better way to really get stuff done because you just don’t have that rushed feeling many folks suffer from, that spoils their day.
Thanks Dan! Looking forward to more Costa Rica themed posts.
Enjoy your stay.
