While exploring Antwerp on a typical cloudy Belgian day we stumbled upon the bi-monthly traveling antique market. The makeshift market takes place in the beautiful Market Square which is set under the enormous Cathedral of Our Lady and surrounded by the houses of the Guilds. The square is a common gathering place in the middle of the city which hosts many markets thoughout the year, the most impressive being the Christmas Market. We strolled the market for a good 45-minutes constantly having to remind ourselves that our bags were already bursting at the seams and we didn’t have space for another souvenir.

When we were in Brussels, we talked about going to Antwerp, but that is as close as we got. It looks beautiful in the photo.
