Omiš Croatia is located just 25 kms south of Split on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast. Once a pirate town, Omiš which sits between the Adriatic Sea and the Cetina River is now a thriving port town.

The town of Omiš which is blessed with not only the river and sea, also has a canyon which many international climbers return year after year to climb. Flowing between the canyons is the River Cetina; and is one of the best places to go white water rafting in Croatia. Also for thrill seekers, Omiš is home to the fastest Zip line in Croatia. Zoom between the canyons, and over the river at 65 kilometres per hour, up over 150 metres off the ground over 8 lines.

The best view in Omiš is found up high. Hike to Mirabela Fortress, the fortress used by the Omiš pirates for hundreds of years. Not just for outdoor adventurers, Omiš town offers gentle boat rides along the Cetina River up to an old family mill, where you can dine on river trout, home-baked bread and local wine before returning home.
