The tiny Garifuna village of Punta Gorda on the island of Roatan on a sunny, sleepy Saturday morning.
Rika used to be a Canadian paralegal before she threw that out the window and became a scuba diving instructor in the tropics. She now lives as an expat on the Western Caribbean island of Roatan while teaching people to breathe underwater and drinking entirely too many rum cocktails (not at the same time). Follow her adventures and misadventures over at her blog, Cubicle Throwdown and on Facebook & Twitter.
