As the name suggests, the Orange Mud Wrap is sort of like an oversized towel with two functions:

The first is as a transition wrap. It allows you to securely cover up while you change out of your regular clothes and into athletic ones (running clothes, swimsuit, etc.).  With a customizable built in belt clip, the wrap stays securely around your waist or chest. So if you’re trying to do a quick costume change in the parking lot, this will ensure none of your neighbors get a show they didn’t sign up for.

The second feature is the seat wrap. The towel has a super convenient zip-on-hoodie, which you fit over the headrest of your seat. This ensures that the towel stays in place when you sit down, unlike normal towels that fall down the second you get seated. Say goodbye to a wet, stinky and dirty car!

We’ll be honest. If you’re traveling around the world or living out of your backpack, then you likely won’t have much need for the wrap. However, if you’re an outdoor enthusiast, practice hot yoga, spend a lot of time driving to and from your adventures, or go on a lot weekend trips, then the Orange Mud Transition Wrap and Seat Cover might be the added bit of convenience you need.

Things we like:

*The zip on hoodie is a really unique feature that actually keeps the towel securely on your seat. I can see this being particularly useful if you have a muddy pup you’re taking back from the park and you don’t want their paw prints all over your pretty car.

*The belt holds really securely, and can accommodate almost any waist/chest width. I hate trying to walk around while trying to keep my towel from falling down—finally a solution!

*The transition wrap would have been very useful while we were training for our marathon. Often we would take our running gear along with us for the day, only ending up at our desired running location later in the evening. We were then faced with one of the awkward hold this thing up in front of me and don’t let anyone see as I try to change beside this wall predicament.

*It comes in a variety of colors, which is just fun!

Some hesitations about the product:

*When we’re on the road, we find our backpacks are already bursting at the seams. Towels are bulky by nature, and never make the final cut into our packs.

*We actually would have preferred if the towel were even a little bit longer. If you’re really tall, I could see how you might not feel adequately covered.
